About Us

Trust Thamesmead is a development trust and registered charity working to build a brighter future for Thamesmead. The organisation formed in 1976 and went through major changes in 1999.

Our team, which includes both Community Development and Community Services offers a range of services and support for individuals, voluntary groups and organisations in Thamesmead.

We also own and support a range of community buildings which support community activity and deliver a range of sporting, social and leisure activities.

Our Building Futures project is a free service offering support, advice and guidance to local people looking for training and employment. We also work with local employers to identify employment opportunities.
