It's easy to learn to sail in Thamesmead!

Thamesmead YMCA runs Royal Yachting Association Youth Sailing Courses that run 9am-1pm at weekends and during school holidays. They hold special charity days and run adventure holidays during the summer break. All this and more for just £16 per week.

On Tuesday and Thursday evenings (5:30-8:30pm) throughout term time and through September young people (aged 10-17) can turn up and join in sailing and kayaking sessions.

There's no need to book but you will need to take along a complete change of clothing including footwear and a towel.
