How to get to Trust Thamesmead Community Festival
Birchmere Park | Thamesmead

Buses B11,472 and 244 stop close to Birchmere Park (at the junction of Bentham Road and Southwood Road).

Buses 177, 229 and 401 stop in Thamesmead town centre, just a five minute walk (approx) from Birchmere Park.

Nearest station: Abbey Wood (buses connect to festival site)

Please note:

No dogs (except guide dogs), weapons, glass bottles or barbeques are permitted withing the site and will be removed. A licensed bar will be available and operating a Challenge 21 policy; photo ID may be required.

Although this is a free event, food and drink is at a cost.

Children using the beach must be accompanied by an adult. The beach closes at 6:00pm.

By attending Trust Thamesmead's Community Festival you are agreeing to be filmed and/or photographed for marketing purposes.

Stewards will be on site throughout the day. If you have any questions or experience any problems during your visit please contact a member of staff.

Whilst every effort will be made to deliver the advertised programme, the festival organisers cannot be held responsible for any subsequent changes that may be necessary owing to operational or technical reasons.
