Youth Centres

There are four youth centres in and around Thamesmead so whether you're based in the North, South, East or West there is one near you!

Thamesmead Youth Centre @ Southlake Centre,
The Southlake Centre on Seacourt Road offers a whole range of activities and projects including...

A music/media studio with a recording booth where you can learn to use Reason and Cubase, record your own vocal, play a range of musical instruments from drum kits to bass guitars and record them to make your own tunes.  They also offer DJ Tuition where you can learn to use CD mixers and how to mix on the turntables.

In another room, you can access the internet on one of the state of the art new computers, play on a dance mats or one of the other console games. 

There is also a mahusive hall where you can take part in dance classes and basketball games, playing fields where you can play football with Charlton Athletic Football coaches, or just hang out in the chill-out zone, and play pool or table tennis.
