Free Home Energy Advice

Thamesmead residents can gain tips on how to keep warm this winter at an event offered by the Peabody Group taking place 10:00am-12:00pm on Wednesday at Thamesmead’s Pop in Parlour in Coralline Walk.

The popular over 50’s group will be hosting the event which will see advisors from the Peabody Group advising them about a number of topics including Peabody’s Home Energy Service which includes practical advice about heating systems, radiators and thermostats whilst keeping bills under control. It is thought residents who follow their adviser’s recommendations save an average of £150 per year.

The event follows on from Peabody’s annual Winter Warmers (2014/15) campaign which has seen more than 2000 residents London-wide visited in their own home by staff volunteering their time to share cost-saving tips.

This event is open to everyone aged 50 and over who live in Thamesmead.
