£30,000 Up For Grabs
Do you know what you would do with the money? Yes? Well tell us!
We are looking for Thamesmead residents/community groups to tell us what they would do with (up to) a £5000 slice of the £30,000 South Thamesmead match funding that is available.
Residents and community groups can apply for up to £5,000 to pay for the materials, tools and professional services needed to deliver local projects that will help strengthen the community and make small scale improvements in South Thamesmead.
Trust Community Development Officer Alex Forrester said: “The regeneration happening across South Thamesmead will affect and benefit local residents and community groups who live and work in the area.
“We are working in partnership with Gallions and Bexley Council to award these grants, which must be matched in the form of cash, volunteering hours or resources.
“It’s a great opportunity for the local community to play a key role in the area’s development and I’d like to hear from anyone who has an idea, big or small, that would improve the local area or support local people in developing their skills or experiences.”
The closing date for applications is December 2014. If you anyone you know would be interested in applying for the grant, contact Alex, T: 020 8320 4470 or E: email@example.com
