The Trust is still quite young - its present format only goes back to 1999.

There is fantastic senior management team in place driving an ambitious agenda forward underpinned by a clear strategy that was agreed by our board of trustees.

The Trust's six key priorities are:

• Community leadership - speaking up on the issues that affect local people
• Building capacity of individuals, groups and organisations.
• Children young people and families
• Employment & employability - strengthening skills for life and work
• Community cohesion - making Thamesmead a place of choice
• Improving sports, leisure, community and social provision

We don't under-estimate what needs to be done but working with others to meet the challenge of tackling social and economic disadvantage in Thamesmead, we are now having an increasing impact on the potential of local people and our local communities.
