Find out more about the exciting plans for Southmere Village and Harrow Manor Way.
The next Abbey Wood and South Thamesmead Housing Zone public consultation will be taking place 3:00 – 8:00pm on Thursday 4 February at Sainsbury’s on Harrow Manor Way.
There you will be able to see the new plans for hundreds of new homes and a new high street featuring a mix of cafe, workshpaces, shops and evening use.
This is following on from Peabody’s consultations and workshops which were held last year and will be an opportunity for residents to see the plans for yourself and have your say about the detailed planning application for Southmere Village as well as the outline planning application for the wider Harrow Manor Way and Binsey Walk area.
If you can’t make Sainsbury’s, then pop along to The Link Thamesmead, 9:00am – 5:00pm on Friday 5 – Sunday 7 February where our exhibition will be available to view.
Peabody has apointed awared winning architects Proctor & Matthews and Mecanoo to lead on the designs.
Led by the London Borough of Bexley, this is one of two Housing Zones to be delivered in Thamesmead, the other is in partnership with the Royal Borough of Greenwich. These will be developed with more than £70m investment from the Greater London Authority.
