Trust Thamesmead is holding one of its many annual healthy living initiatives; Good Choices Day, 10:30am-2:30pm on Friday 4 July at Arnott Community Centre off Bentham Road, Thamesmead.
The day is for children of all ages and their families to learn about healthy living, leisure activities, exercise and community safety.
There will be two fun healthy eating performances by drama group Whipper Snappers, information stalls including Greenwich's Children Information Service, Greenwich Road Safety, the Moorings Safer Neighbourhood Team, a community dentist from Bexley PCT, librarians from local libraries, children activities, refreshments and give aways.
Trust Thamesmead/Greenwich Community Food Coop's fruit and veg stall will also be outside Arnott Community Centre, 10:30am-2:30pm as they are every Friday, selling delicious fresh fruit at great prices. They will also be hoping to attract others to become a volunteer on the popular stall.
