Trust Thamesmead's Community Development team provides support to a range of community groups in Thamesmead, including...

• Help with setting up new community groups
• Accessing funding streams
• Help with locating premises
• Training
• Organisational health checks
• Policies and procedures including Equal Opportunities; Health & Safety; Fire Evacuation; Child Protection and Constitutions

Trust Thamesmead's Community Development team also...

• Addresses issues and helps to improve services in the local community
• Sets up partnerships with other agencies
• Supports and delivers on community safety initiatives
• Facilitates a broad range of learning opportunities, from homework clubs to yoga classes
• Supports local traders in making the area safer

The Community Development Team are committed to developing and supporting services that you want to see. As such, we regularly conduct community consultations with residents. If you would like to share your views about Thamesmead, please contact us.
