Thamesmead Youth Voice Residentials

The Link Thamesmead staff have taken members of Thamesmead Youth Voice, who meet at The Link every Tuesday, on various trips around the country over the last three months, to visit other youth centres and areas, including Wigan Youth Zone and The Factory Youth Zone in Manchester, Thorpe Park, the Lake District and Alton Towers.

The Link's Centre Manager, Mark Blundell said: "The residentials and day trips were a fantastic experience for the young people to look around other centres, take them out of their comfort zone and go to places they have never seen. It was an opportunity for them to take part in team bonding sessions and get to meet other young people, many of whom they keep in touch with via social media and we look forward to welcoming at The Link in the near future."
