Community Voice Meeting Confirmed

Find out what's happening in Thamesmead, have your say and be heard at Trust Thamesmead's second Community Voice meeting hosted by Erith & Thamesmead MP, Teresa Pearce at The Link Thamesmead, 6:30-8:30pm on Thursday 20 February 2014.

The meeting follows the hugely successful first meeting which took place in November, where residents requested the chance to put forward questions to a number of important and influential regeneration partners face to face, which is exactly what the Trust has managed to arrange. With speakers confirmed from Crossrail, Transport for London, London Chamber of Commerce & Industry and others including London Wildlife Trust who will give an update on the Wild About Thamesmead partnership project, there will be something for everyone with an interest in Thamesmead.

The Trust's Community Development Officer, Alex Forrester said: “The aim of this event is to bring together residents, businesses, workers and volunteers who live or have an interest in Thamesmead and the regeneration happening in the area. The meeting isn’t just for residents to listen about the changes; they are also being given a voice to ask questions about the changes affecting them.”
