Thamesmead Arts Festival 2015

The Thamesmead Arts Festival 2015 is a week-long festival of fun and entertainment, brought to your doorstep.

Taking place during half term (25 – 31 May), you can expect a vibrant and diverse programme of events and activities including live music, theatre, cinema, exhibitions and creative workshops.

Brought to you by local groups, Theatre Street Performing Arts and Dynamix, as well as a number of renowned arts organisations including Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance, Emergency Exit Arts, The Brick Box, Global Fusion and the Albany Theatre.

Stephen Howlett, Chief Executive, Peabody said: “The Peabody group is proud to be launching the first ever, all-encompassing Thamesmead Arts Festival.  It will offer a range of activities, featuring some of South East London’s most innovative and diverse artists. We hope that this one week will be the beginning of something bigger, kick-starting an arts programme that will leave a legacy lasting well in to the future.”

Most performances cost just £1 each, although some may vary. Workshops are completely free.

Here is the full programme. Why not take a look, book and put the date/s in your diary?

Alternatively, support the week-long event by becoming a volunteer.
