T'riffic Thamesmead

T’riffic Thamesmead is a unique schools partnership between Trust Thamesmead and the area’s local primary and secondary schools.

It is designed to emphasise the positive side of living in Thamesmead and to encourage residents and pupils to feel proud of where they live and to help them develop a sense of belonging.

Now available to the wider community, this area of the Trust Thamesmead website supports the education packs that have been developed for the project.

It contains additional resources which can be downloaded and used by residents, teachers and pupils alike, including secret maps of the area dating from 1931 and the 24 page supplement produced by the Mercury newspaper to herald the beginning of Thamesmead in August 1968.

T'riffic Projects and Endorsements
	All 13 schools in Thamesmead got involved in T'riffic Thamesmead during the first year (2008). During that time pupils made badges, monopoly boards, murals and more.
