Thamesmead Arts Festival

This year's Thamesmead Arts Festival will be taking place this October half-term.

Offering everything from sewing, arts and crafts and upcycling to creative writing, learning about the history of Thamesmead and finding out about projects and opportunities which are available to residents, activities will be taking place at a number of venues across Thamesmead.

There is also the chance to win £30 just by taking a photo of yourself out and about in Thamesmead and uploading to Facebook or Twitter and tagging @TrustThamesmead.

Trust Thamesmead’s Head of Partnerships and Engagement, Lucy Webb said: “The Thamesmead Arts Festival is a celebration of Thamesmead; from our history to the opportunities available to residents in this present day. We would like as many residents as possible involved to celebrate our great town in a fun and creative way.”
