Acorn Preschool Gain an 'Outstanding' Ofsted Result

Acorn Preschool is the first preschool in the London Borough of Bexley to gain an ‘Outstanding' Ofsted result.

Ofsted recently published their report about Acorn Preschool, which says: "They (the children) really enjoy school and like their teachers. They know that teachers have their best interests at heart and have a clear sense of self-worth because they know they are valued as individuals.

"Their high level basic skills and personal qualities prepare them extremely well for the next stage in their education.

"Teachers work hard to make learning interesting and pupils benefit from a stimulating and rich curriculum which is well matched to their needs. Pupils consequently enjoy their work immensely and want to succeed."

It also commended the pupils' manners, saying that their  "behaviour is exemplary. They are polite, helpful and extremely well mannered."
