To celebrate the launch of its new website, Gallions Housing Association has teamed up with Bexley Council Resources Plus to offer free Internet training sessions for its tenants and other Bexley, Greenwich or Lewisham residents.
The fun and interactive workshops will be held at the computer suites at Erith Riverside Centre and run by experienced Bexley Council Resources Plus staff. The groups will be informal and flexible, giving everyone the chance to ask plenty of questions and really get involved.
Speaking about the joint initiative, Anita Dagger, Communications Officer at Gallions said: “The Internet is already an important part of modern life and a great resource for all the family, from doing your weekly shop to finding a new career you can do almost anything online. We are working with Bexley Resources Plus to help more people take advantage of this piece of technology and to boost their skills and confidence. I'm hoping that it will be a great success”.
Training places are limited so if you are aged 16-65 and want to learn to surf for free, contact Anita on 0800 83 84 81 or email her at [email protected] no later than Friday 2nd May (sessions run from 13-24 May).
