Capital Projects

Trust Thamesmead secured more than £10m of investment in Thamesmead. The money of which was spent on two fantastic, multi-million pound capital projects, The Link Thamesmead which opened in October 2012, and Sporting Club Thamesmead which opened in August 2013.

Sporting Club Thamesmead
	Sporting Club Thamesmead is home to both Thamesmead Town FC and Charlton Athletic Women's FC and offers a range of activities, spaces for hire and a Sports Bar.

	The Link Thamesmead is a £5m community project, which opened to the public on Monday 1 October 2012.
