Meet the stars of E4's Misfits

Gallions Housing Association is giving one Thamesmead resident (and a friend) the chance to go on the set of E4's BAFTA award winning drama Misfits.

You will have the chance to get up close and personal and see what on behind the scenes when filming of an award winning drama, which will be screened later this year.

All you have to do is email the word 'Misfits' together with your name, age, address and telephone number to: [email protected] by 5:00pm on the extended closing date of Friday 27 August. You must be aged 16-21 and available around late August/early September.

Meanwhile, the Trust is running two naming competitions, each with £25 up for grabs!

Fruit and Veg Stall

Trust Thamesmead and Greenwich Community Food Coop are launching a second fruit and veg stall, which will be available outside Discovery Primary School, Battery Road, West Thamesmead every Thursday from 16 September.

If you can come up with a catchier name than 'Fruit and Veg Stall', then get in touch, as there's £25 worth of vouchers up for grabs! Furniture Bank

Thamesmead's Furniture Bank at Tavy Bridge is held 10:00am-12:00pm on the last Tuesday of every month and offers each Thamesmead Gallions Housing Association household (ID needed) a piece of furniture for free, which has been donated to them.

Competitions are only open to Thamesmead residents. Enteries will be chosen by a relevant panel of judges. The panel's decision is final.
