Marlborough Court Care Home in Thamesmead has been chosen as one of 2012 official places around the world to light a beacon on Monday 4 June in commemoration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
The lighting of the beacon will take place at 10:26pm along the Thames near to the care home at 7 Copperfield Road, Thamesmead, SE28 8RB, with the Queen officially lighting hers at 10:30pm.
