Trust Thamesmead's Arnott Pre-school held their 5th annual Good Choices Day event at their setting in Arnott Close, Thamesmead.
The event attracted 70 people during the course of the day, which offered free fun, activities and information.
Trust Thamesmead's Childcare Manager, Tracy Norcott said: “Good Choices Day is a fantastic opportunity for local residents, including the pre-school children and their parents/carers to find out about the choices available to them.
“The event proves popular each year and we will continue to build upon the success to deliver even better events in the future.”
Amongst those who attended and engaged with residents were Trust Thamesmead, The Link Thamesmead, Sporting Club Thamesmead, NHS Dentist, Team Gallions, Thamesmere Leisure Centre and Greenwich Road Safety who were teaching children how to cross a road.
Arnott Pre-school's Parents' Forum attended and sold clothes and toys donated to them to raise money for future pre-school days out and a face painter and disco also attended, the latter of which provided some great background music which enabled the adults to spend time talking to each other whilst tucking into a healthy buffet.
Trust Thamesmead's Acorn Pre-school will be holding their second Good Choices Day event at their setting based at 57 Glimpsing Green, off Alsike Road, DA18 4HB, 12:30-3:00pm on Thursday 19 July 2012. The day will include a baby gym, music, face painting and lots of service providers who will be on hand to engage with attendees.
