We are really pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Webb as our new Head of Partnerships and Engagement.
This a new post which is aimed at bringing increased capacity to the Senior Management Team and providing leadership of our partnership and community engagement work as well as leadership of our Community Development Team.
Lucy is currently an Area Manager for the Environmental and Social Regeneration charity Groundwork London where she has been for the past four years. Prior to joining Groundwork Lucy worked in regeneration in both the private and public sector when she worked for EDAW and Dartford Borough Council.
Trust Chief Executive Mick Hayes told Trust Talk that the creation of this key role was based on our desire to deliver on all fifteen priorities in our Transforming Thamesmead strategy.
Lucy said “I am really excited about joining the Trust team at this time of fantastic opportunity for Thamesmead. I have worked in the area for the last two years and have grown to love Thamesmead. I can absolutely see the potential that the area has with the planned investment but also with a great deal of coordinated partnership work. I am looking forward to working with everyone to achieve the aims of ‘Transforming Thamesmead’.
As well as working in the public, private and voluntary sector in regeneration Lucy has a Masters in Regional and Urban Planning from the London School of Economics and has recently completed an ‘Understanding of Social Enterprise’ (Level 5) course at the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Lucy will be spending some time at Trust Thamesmead in the coming weeks will be joining the team permanently at the end of July.
