Light Spectacular

You're invited to Peabody's Light Spectacular taking place 6.00-10.00pm on Saturday 6 September at the A Bridge opposite The Link Thamesmead in Belvedere Road, off Harrow Manor Way, Thamesmead, SE2 9BS.

The event which The Brick Box has been commissioned to deliver will showcase music, dance, screenings and performances to round-off all the events Peabody’s ‘Garden of Dreams’ has been attending across Thamesmead over the summer, engaging with residents about their thoughts on the area which will feed into Peabody’s Futures Plan.

Peabody’s Thamesmead Strategy Team’s Engagement and Programme Manager, Ellen Halstead said: “The garden has been a fantastic way of engaging and encouraging Thamesmead residents to share their views, knowledge and ideas about the area.

“It is clear residents are as passionate as Peabody about Thamesmead – the people, the place and the potential it has to become one of the capital’s most desirable places to live and work. We will be using the feedback to help us shape how best to deliver improvements in the area”

The Brick Box’s Founder and Director, Eleanor Barrett, said: “We are delighted to be working in Thamesmead with Peabody and the local community and are really looking forward to showcasing The Light Fantastic which has been designed to inspire, celebrate, entertain and illuminate.
