The Thamesmead Arts Festival (16 - 18 September 2016) is returning for a second year and it set to be bigger and better, with a programme of events celebrating all things Made in Thamesmead.
The festival which is produced by the local community and same of London's best-known artists and creative organisations, will offer a jam-packed programme of more than twenty events that explore Thamesmead's unique character.
From open air film screenings to interactive workshops, photography exhibitions and dance showcases, there's a huge amount taking place to suit all ages and interests. Events are taking place at venues across Thamesmead, including the stunning Southmere Square and the historic Victorian Grade I listed Crossness Pumping Station.
Thamesmead Arts Festival 2016 is run by one of London's oldest and largest housing association's Peabody alongside the local community.
Peabody, England's national development agency for the arts, Arts Council England and property maintenance services organisation Axis and supported by charitable trust Totally Thames, London Borough of Bexley and Royal Borough of Greenwich.
