About Us

We want you, your family, neighbours and friends in and around Thamesmead to have fun whilst getting fit, whether it’s spending 10 minutes a day cycling to work rather than waiting twice as long for a bus or joining one of our many £1 activities.

Now’s the Time is a three-year partnership project funded by Sport England’s Community Sport Activation Fund, Trust Thamesmead, London Borough of Bexley, Royal Borough of Greenwich, Gallions Housing Association and Peabody, supported by Charlton Athletic Community Trust and a number of venues across Thamesmead.

Whether it’s been a while since you’ve been active or if you have never taken part in any kind of fitness before, Now’s the Time …to start!
