Mission, Vision and Values

Our Mission Statement

Trust Thamesmead is a community development organisation with charitable status that works almost exclusively in Thamesmead.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life and enhance opportunities and aspirations for the whole community. We do this by:

 Advocating for change to benefit Thamesmead residents and supporting local people to find local solutions.
 Forming partnerships with those who share our vision.
 Acting as a gateway to bring services and funding to Thamesmead.
 Using our income to deliver direct services of very high quality.

Our Values

We put our values are at the heart of everything we do. We always act with integrity and care whilst having the passion, commitment and ambition to drive forward change. We are here to support people and organisations both now and for the long term.


Our Vision

We aspire for Thamesmead to be the place of choice for people to live, work, raise their families and have happy and fulfilled lives. A place where vibrant, self-reliant, inclusive communities can grow and where people are proud of who they are and where they live.
