Linda Delieu

Linda has a wealth of knowledge and experience of Thamesmead, from living here to working at the Trust since 1988.

Linda is the Trust's Community Development Officer responsible for North Thamesmead and Financial Inclusion and is also the Greenwich Unison representative for the Trust and the Greenwich Unison Assistant Branch Secretary for the Private and Voluntary Sector.

North Thamesmead

Linda has worked closely with Thamesmead East Safer Neighbourhood Team, Bexley Community Safety Partnership, Bexley Waste and Recycling and Bexley Neighbourhood Watch to help tackle some of the issues in North Thamesmead. The area has improved over the last few years and successes such as tackling fly tipping in Manor Close and the Mural on Manor Close Community Centre have had a huge positive impact on the area.

Financial Inclusion

Linda coordinates an umbrella of partners in Thamesmead; Fair Finance, Greenwich and Bexley Credit Union, Thamesmead Furniture Recycle and Thamesmead Food Bank, all of whom support residents with a wide range of services.

"Fair Finance are based at the Trust's office in Thamesmead Town Centre three days per week offering free, confidential impartial debt advice and affordable loans. They also offer Financial Capability worksho for groups and have a monthly Debt Advice Drop in on the last Wednesday of every month."
