Jess Moles

Jess joined the Trust in March 2011 as a Community Development Administration Assistant and has since been promoted to Community Development Assistant, which sees her working closely with the Community Development team, specifically Sarah, who she assists with West Thamesmead and volunteering. Jess also leads on Arts & Culture.

"After a couple of months the Trust invested in me and put me on a Business and Administration Level 2 NVQ which I then progressed into and completed Level 3.

"Over the years my role has progressed from admin based tasks to getting to know community groups and helping run events which I have enjoyed thoroughly. I now meet with potential volunteers, enrol them and help them search for volunteering vacancies that will help them become more confident and/or better their career. I am also lead person on our new Salesforce database and support the time with any problems that arise.

Arts & Culture

The aim is to work with Thamesmead residents and community groups to get more involved and pro-active in their community through events and activities such as art workshops or events that highlight resident’s religion, culture and background.
