Pre-school Spaces Available

Trust Thamesmead runs two preschools; Acorn (57 Glimpsing Green, Thamesmead, DA18 4HB; Bexley Borough) and Arnott (3 Arnott Close, off Bentham Road, Thamesmead, SE28 8BG; Greenwich Borough), which are open 9:00am-12:00pm and 12:30-3:30pm, Monday-Friday during term time.

Every year at the beginning of September there are childcare spaces available, “Parents have so much to do, that pre- registering their child in pre-school is the last thing on their mind.” Said Childcare Manager Tracy Norcott, adding: “Every year we have one or two spare places and we usually fill them by the end of September.”

So if you have a child aged 3-5 years old and would like to place them in an Ofsted registered pre-school that offers Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, in a fun and safe environment, there's still time.

Staff at both settings are fully qualified and CRB checked, and Acorn Pre-school was the first preschool in the London Borough of Bexley to ever gain an ‘Outstanding' Ofsted result.
