The Final Countdown

The Trust is counting down the days until we open the doors to The Link Thamesmead next month.

A stunning, state-of-the-art community hub, The Link Thamesmead is going to offer something for everyone, from projects, events and activities to opportunities including volunteering, training, work experience and student placements as well as a host of spaces for hire.

There'll also be a café with internet access for those who are taking part in activities.

The Link Thamesmead's Centre Manager, Mark Blundell said: “We are looking forward to unveiling this amazing community space which has been constructed out of what were once mainly dead spaces under the flyover in Harrow Manor Way. You really have to see it to believe it but the building is only one element, what we offer inside is going to be even more exciting.”

Working with our partners Archway Project, Bexley Youth Service, Theatre Street Performing Arts, Charlton Athletic Community Trust, Thamesmead Gym, New Horizons Federation and others, The Link Thamesmead will offer an indoor climbing wall, high and low ropes courses, a motorcycle workshop and a gym.

The range of facilities available for hire will include a rehearsal room, a 200 seat performance space, a boardroom and meeting rooms.
