Join Trust Thamesmead for Thamesmead’s first ever official Christmas Lights Switch On by the clock tower in Thamesmead Town Centre, 5:30-7:00pm on Friday 29 November.
The event will include carol singing, information stalls, free mince pies and hot drinks, music and a free Santa’s grotto. The lights will be switched-on at 6:30pm by the Mayor of Royal Borough of Greenwich, Councillor Angela Cornforth; Erith & Thamesmead, MP Teresa Pearce, Thamesmead resident/World Boxing Union Welterweight World Title contender, Ryan Barrett; Arsenal Ladies, Gilly Flaherty and North West Kent’s online radio station, Miskin Radio.
Trust Thamesmead’s Head of Partnership and Engagement, Lucy Webb said: “We cannot wait to bring residents together and start Christmas in style. We hope the residents of Thamesmead will come out in force to join us in seeing Thamesmead light up.”
