Extended Opening Hours for Library

Claude Ramsey Library has extended its opening hours by 15-and-a-half hours a week including Monday and Thursday mornings and all day Tuesday, thanks to Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Councillor Peter Kotz said: "The Royal Borough understands the important role libraries play in our communities, offering much more than books and DVDs.

"While councils across the country have been closing libraries and reducing their provision, we are proud to be opening new facilities and extending our opening hours."

Claude Ramsey Library based at Thamesmere Leisure Centre, Thamesmead Town Centre, SE28 8DT is now open 7:00am-9:30pm Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm on Saturdays and 9:00am-5:00pm on Sundays. T: 020 8310 4246.
