Plumstead and West Thamesmead Public Consultation

Join Peabody at their public consultation where you will be able to view their latest proposals for the Plumstead and West Thamesmead Housing Zone.

The proposals cover three areas including the site of the original Arsenal Football Club - the Manor Ground - and feature plans for more than 900 new homes; a mix of commercial uses; new workspaces; improvements to existing public spaces and the creation of new ones including a new public square.

Residents can find out more and have their say on the Plumstead proposals at a number of public events where Peabody's regeneration and design teams will be on hand to meet with residents:

• 25 June, 10am - 2pm at Broadwater Village Hall, 1c Goosander Way, SE28 0ER

• 28 June, 5 - 8pm at McDonald's, 3 Pettman Crescent, SE28 0FF

• 5 July, 3.30 - 7.30pm at Broadwater Village Hall, 1c Goosander Way, SE28 0ER

The new homes and local amenities being delivered by Peabody, are part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich's Housing Zone programme which is being delivered with funding from the Greater London Authority. The partnership will create 1,500 new homes to rent and buy, improve the environment and bring new jobs to the borough.

Much like South Thamesmead and Abbey Wood station, the arrival of Crossrail at Woolwich Arsenal station from 2018, means we will also have the opportunity to attract new businesses, create new jobs and help drive the local economy.
