Trust Thamesmead's Christmas Card Winners Announced

Trust Thamesmead's Christmas celebrations have officially began, with the presentation of prizes to the Trust's ‘Design a Christmas Card Competition' winners.

Trustees, parents, teachers and staff gathered in the Trust's reception to see Jubilee primary school pupil, Alice Sweeney; St John Fisher RC primary school pupils, Cerren Swain and Ngozi (Esther) Edeme and St Margaret Clitherow RC primary school pupil, Demi-Brooklyn Diego receive framed original prints and a bag of their own, fully printed Christmas cards and art box sets.

All primary schools in Thamesmead were invited to take part in this year's event. The Trust's Chief Executive, Mick Hayes opened the ceremony by saying how nice it was that more schools participated this year and that the standard of entries were higher than ever.

The Christmas cards will act as Trust Thamesmead's official Christmas cards 2006 and will be sent out to all the Trust's contacts at the beginning of December.
