Family Learning Week in Thamesmead

Trust Thamesmead has been working closely with Helen Matthews of Greenwich's Family Learning team in arranging the following events for Thamesmead residents and school pupils during Family Learning Week which is taking place 6-14 October.

The Trust is proud to announce the following events which are to be attended by both parents/carers and children alike…

Monday 8 October
Sees Simple Puppets who will be telling stories with puppets followed by the making of them at St Paul's Pre-school whilst Linton Mead primary school pupils and parents/carers will be map making.

Tuesday 9 October
Simple Puppets will return to Thamesmead on the Tuesday, to Arnott Preschool off Bentham Road.

Wednesday 10 October
And again on Wednesday when Simple Puppets will be working with Goose-E-Ganders parent and toddler group at Broadwater Village Hall.

Thursday 11 October
On Thursday Hawksmoor primary school pupils and their parents/carers will Pick a Planet and be visited by Dr Claire Thomas from the National Maritime Museum.

Friday 12 October
And on Friday, Hawksmoor pupils together with parents/carers will be playing maths games as the Discovery School has fun with stories and The Vicarage holds a coffee morning.
