Gallions Housing Association has appointed Moat Housing's Director of Development, Ian Beckett as its new Director of Development and Regeneration.
Ian began his career in local authority housing management before moving to development and has progressed through a number of notable housing associations including Orbit and Hyde. Ian has extensive experience of working with the Housing Corporation as a Development Partner and has also been instrumental in increasing Moat's development programme to its current level of delivering over 700 new homes a year.
Gallions' Chief Executive, Tony Cotter, said: "I want to welcome Ian on board and take this early opportunity to wish him every success in his new career with us. Ian joins us at an exciting time. Phase one of our £138 million Tavy Bridge regeneration project has just been completed and we are now gearing up for phase two. We have ambitious plans to increase our housing stock over the coming years and with his experience, I am confident that Ian will be able to help us achieve this".
