As Thamesmead's leading community development agency and registered charity, we can't think of a better national event for Trust Thamesmead to celebrate than Local and Community History Month which is running throughout May.
To tie-in with this celebration, the Trust's Community Development Team is holding film nights in each of our halls. Each of the evenings will feature visual displays including our two major capital projects Sporting Club Thamesmead and the Youth Leisure Zone, as well as T'riffic Thamesmead which started off as a school project but which the Trust is opening to the wider community.
The evenings are called film nights because there will also be showings of DVDs old and new of Thamesmead followed by a discussion of the area.
The film nights will be taking place:

Manor Close Community Centre, 40 Manor Close, Thamesmead, SE28 8EY
