A night banged up inside one of London's most infamous working prisons, HMP Holloway, proved highly profitable for June Wells and Linda Delieu, who both work for Trust Thamesmead.
The mum and daughter duo took part in a Cancer Research UK Sleepover at the prison last weekend, raising almost £900 between them.
Linda said: "It was a great experience. We were made very welcome by the prison staff and even the food was good! There were 46 people in the group and between us we raised a fantastic £18,000.
"And that's not all! We passed some of the time taking part in a quiz which Mum and I and two team mates won so all-in-all it was a pretty successful night."
The group of 5 men and 41 women were 'granted parole' on Sunday morning for behaviour and raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
