Thamesmead's very own website is up and running!

At last people living in Thamesmead can have instant access to information about their community in one place, a one-stop shop comprehensive and all-encompassing website.

Developed and funded by Trust Thamesmead it's crammed with information on the wide range of organisations, services and activities that are available to Thamesmead residents, whichever local borough they live in.

Many months have gone into building and designing the site and during this time Trust Thamesmead has been working closely with local organisations to make sure that the content of the site is relevant, accurate and - most importantly - what people want.

The Trust's Head of Communications Elaine Johnson said: “The launch of the site is just the beginning. We will be continuing to work hard to make sure that our site stays up-to-date and dynamic.

“Although we are taking responsibility for funding and managing the site it belongs to everyone in Thamesmead. As people get to know about it we hope it becomes a really valuable local resource. Equally, if there's something missing that ought to be here then tell us about that too.”
