Halloween Party

The 5th Abbey Wood Brownies and Rainbows celebrated Halloween with a spooky fun filled children's party at Arnott Community Centre in Thamesmead on Monday.

The girls all aged between five and 11 attended in fancy dress and played goulish party games including pass the mash (cold mash potato with chocolates hidden inside. Like apple bobbing but much messier), pass the parcel and musical statues whilst spooky music was played. There was also plenty of party food that the parents provided and which the little monsters devoured.

Brown Owl, Sandy White said: "We all had a fantastic spooky time and the children did so well with their cosumes and scary make up - it was a real treat without any tricks."

The 5th Abbey Wood Brownies and Rainbows meet every Monday during term time only. Rainbows - 5:00-6:15pm, Brownies - 6:30-8:00pm.
