Thamesmead Documentary

Trust Thamesmead has been instrumental in making sure that Thamesmead's 40th birthday is celebrated in style.

One of our birthday projects was the production of a documentary film about Thamesmead, as seen through the eyes of people living here.

Last week the Trust premiered the 30 minute long film, called ‘Getting Perfect' at the Greenwich Picture House in front of an audience made up of Trust staff and guests.

Afterwards drinks and nibbles were held in the upstairs bar, giving everyone there the chance to get to know each other better.

With the premiere over the film will not be left to gather dust as the Trust is planning to make it a point of focus during Local History month in May next year.
