Vote for Trust Thamesmead

Trust Thamesmead has been shortlisted to become the charity partner of Abbey Wood's brand new Sainsbury's store, opening tomorrow (Wednesday 29 July).

During their first week of opening, shoppers are being asked to register their vote in-store at Harrow Manor Way.

If chosen, the store will, twice a year, hold special events to fundraise for us. This will help us to continue working with residents in Thamesmead in a number of ways including improving people's health and employment and training support. To give you an example of just some of our achievements last year, we:

Supported more than 500 residents into work

Helped more than 500 residents access financial advice

Ran two Outstanding pre-schools

Welcomed more than 42,000 visitors through the door of Sporting Club Thamesmead
